Pachinko related business includes developing, manufacturing and selling a system to control and monitor pachinko machine, and manage business operation.  Sun Corp. also manufactures Pachinko and household appliances and develops game software for family use.

Sun Corp (6736 JP) has declined ~6% in the past month. Its 44.3% stake in Cellebrite DI (CLBT US) is worth ~186% of its market cap.

<li>3D Investment Partners launched a Partial Tender Offer to buy a 10+% stake in <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/hankyu-hanshin-reit-inc" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:12654:1" rel="noopener">Hankyu Hanshin REIT, Inc. (8977 JP)</a>. The REIT finally responded with a "Neutral" stance. </li>
<li>But they also upgraded earnings forecasts, bought a building, and announced the Sponsor would buy units in the market over the next year. It's big. </li>
<li>And that creates flows, which then engender other reactive flows, and cascading flows, and because the sector isn't rich, there may be a tailwind.</li>

CK Hutchison Holdings Limited holds all of the non-property businesses of the Cheung Kong Group and the Hutchison Group, including ports and related services, telecommunications, retail, infrastructure, energy, and movable assets leasing operations.

<li>As part of a US$22.8bn transaction, BlackRock, Global Infrastructure Partners and Terminal Investment, have <a href="https://www1.hkexnews.hk/listedco/listconews/sehk/2025/0304/2025030402128.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">agreed to buy</a> two contentious Panama ports from Li Ka-shing's <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/ck-hutchison-holdings-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:132:1" rel="noopener">CK Hutchison (1 HK)</a> (CKH).</li>
<li>The transaction also includes an 80% stake in CKH's ports subsidiaries, which operate 43 ports comprising 199 berths in 23 countries.</li>
<li>CKH expects cash proceeds in excess of US$19bn. CKH's current market cap was - at the time of deal - also  ~US$19bn. </li>

China Communications Construction Company Ltd. is a transportation infrastructure group.  The Company is involved in infrastructure construction, infrastructure design, dredging, and port machinery manufacturing.  China Communications has operations worldwide.

<li>CCCC has a stronger contract momentum than CRG - its FY24 new contracts were up 7.3%, but CRG was down 12.4%. CCCC is also better positioned for urban construction growth.</li>
<li>In terms of dividend yield, CCCC is higher at 6.8% for FY25, yet CRG is only 6.3%. CCCC's performance should pick up in the rest of 2025.</li>

Long China Communications Construction (1800 HK), short China Railway Group Ltd H (390 HK) is a good strategy to capitalise on the recent underperformance of CCCC.
CCCC has a stronger contract momentum than CRG - its FY24 new contracts were up 7.3%, but CRG was down 12.4%. CCCC is also better positioned for urban construction growth.
In terms of dividend yield, CCCC is higher at 6.8% for FY25, yet CRG is only 6.3%. CCCC's performance should pick up in the rest of 2025.
