<p>JDI’s repeated restructuring attempts over the last few years and the disproportionately large influence of Apple’s strategic shifts on the company make an analysis of the company’s fundamentals challenging. Nevertheless, based on our analysis of the company’s marginal profitability ratios we believe that JDI’s underlying profit generation has been unusually weak in the last four quarters. Below we attempt to gauge what the company would need to do to meet market expectations based on its latest restructuring.</p>
