Fujitsu has been trying to sell its stake in Fujitsu General (6755). It was too expensive earlier this year. The price fell, then the auction failed again. Fujitsu wants out. It will help it along.

Fujitsu (6702), the parent, has had negative press (UK Post Office) recently but this is unrelated to Fujitsu General. FGEL announced last week it would add a production line for power modules. New IGBT IPMs are on schedule for April 2024. This is still an event to be long. Fujitsu knows it was price. They control price for 1/2 the deal. The profit they make is less important than getting done.
