<li>This long-winded regulatory process hinged on whether the NBTC actually had the legal clout to halt the merger, which would create a duopoly with <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/advanced-info-service-pcl" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:947:1" rel="noopener">Advanced Info Service (ADVANC TB)</a> </li>
