Steno Research is a new macro and geopolitical research house. We are based out of Copenhagen, Denmark, but have an international team and a strong network of sources and partners around the world. The team is lead by Andreas Steno, previous global head of strategy at Nordea Bank, and Mikkel Rosenvold, former chief consultant in the Danish Ministry of Finance.

<li>We delve into the current state of the oil market and share our thoughts on our current position at this stage. First we broke USD 80, then Al Jazeera reported a ceasefire between Israel and Palestine, which was retracted 15 min later.</li>
<li>The market didn’t care and pounded the sell-bottom all the way back below 78 even with (on the paper) strong jobs and PMI prints out of the US coming out in the meantime.</li>
