Detailed Summary of Today's Second Trial Ruling in Chey Tae-Won's Divorce Case Involving SK Inc

<li>It was reported today that SK Pharmteco completed a 660 billion won in pre-IPO funding valuing the company at 4 trillion won.</li>
<li>Prior to this investment, SK Inc owned a 100% stake in SK Pharmteco. After this investment, it is estimated that SK Inc will own about 83.5% stake in SK Pharmteco. </li>
<li>Our base case valuation of SK Inc is NAV of 19.0 trillion won (NAV per share of 258,967 won), representing a 47% upside from current levels.</li>

It was reported today that SK Pharmteco completed a 660 billion won in pre-IPO funding valuing the company at 4 trillion won.
Prior to this investment, SK Inc owned a 100% stake in SK Pharmteco. After this investment, it is estimated that SK Inc will own about 83.5% stake in SK Pharmteco.

Updated NAV on SK Inc Post 660 Billion Pre-IPO Investment in SK Pharmteco

<li>On 28 February, WeBull announced a merger with SK Growth Opportunities SPAC on NASDAQ. The proposed transaction represented an implied pro forma enterprise value of about $7.3 billion. </li>
<li>WeBull had 4.3 million funded accounts and  $8.2bn in assets under custody at end of 2023. In comparison, Robinhood had 23.4mn funded accounts and $102.6bn in assets under custody. </li>
<li>Given the numerous material concerns about this deal, we would avoid it. There are no financials including income statement and balance sheet of WeBull in the prospectus. </li>

Bain Capital-backed Chindata Group (CD US) is on the move after Bloomberg flagged - again - interest from industry players.
This time, SOE-backed China Merchants Group is understood to be mulling a takeover of Chindata. Shares are up 23% since that article earlier this month.
Back in April, Bloomberg mentioned GDS Holdings (ADR) (GDS US), PE outfit PAG, and EQT AB (EQT SS)-backed EdgeConneX were rumoured to be interested in merging with Chindata.
