Coupang is best known for Rocket Delivery, which provides free, next-day delivery for orders placed any time of the day.</div><div>Coupang has increased its IPO price range from $27-30 per share to $32-34 per share. The number of the offer shares remains unchanged at 120 million shares and the primary/secondary split remains unchanged. At the upsized IPO price range of $32-34 per share, Coupang will have a market cap of $55-58 billion vs the previous market cap of $46-51 billion. At the mid-point of the IPO price range, the net proceeds from the primary raise are $3.2 billion ($2.8 billion previously). </div><div>

Its investors include Tencent, GIC and Standard Chartered Bank.Linklogis’ cloud-native solutions optimize the payment cycle of supply chain transactions and digitalize the entire workflow of supply chain finance. As per CIC, Linklogis was the leader among technology solution providers in China in terms of supply chain finance transactions processed over 9M20, accounting for 20.5% market share.Linklogis overall revenue grew by 83% YoY in FY19 and was up another 52% over 9M20. While its core function of Supply Chain finance has been registering strong growth of 64.4% YoY in FY19 and 53.8% in 9M20, revenue from its Emerging solutions was up nearly 6x in FY19 and grew by another 38% over 9M20.In this insight, I'll cover the positive aspects of the deal.

Although operating losses expectedly persist (AUD 79.2 mn vs. AUD 8.2 mn in 2H20), the numbers overall exhibited significant improvement: Financially, we see a light at the end of the tunnel for Afterpay on two fronts: a) receivables impairment increased AUD 25.4 mn (54.5%) HOH. As the global market recover post-vaccine, we’d expect impairments to decline; and b) fair value losses increased AUD 63.7 mn (58.6x). Simply excluding the fair value challenge, After pay would have operated at break-even;  and*Tencent’s Midas Touch: Tencent continues to hit it out of the park with its Afterpay stake. In addition to its superb return on investment of nearly 322% over the past nine  months since the stake announcement - -even after giving back some of its gains, this alliance with Australia’s premier financial technology Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) company is paying dividends to Tencent in numerous other ways.
