The pattern was clear, but one assumes everyone in-group was on the same page.</li>

<li>Exedy announced a big buyback to go with it. It bought back 30% of the total on Weds morning, and that reduced the size of the offer. </li>

Exedy announced a big buyback to go with it. It bought back 30% of the total on Weds morning, and that reduced the size of the offer. 
I had expected "short-term games" but we haven't really had them. Which is a bit weird. This update shows the details and dynamics (they differ).

NGK SPARK PLUG Co., Ltd. manufactures and markets spark plugs for automobiles, motorcycles, agricultural machinery, ships, and aircrafts.  The Company also makes ceramic products for semiconductor and telecommunication equipment. NGK Spark Plug markets its products under the NGK and NTK brand names and has subsidiaries in the US, Canada, France, Germany, and South Korea.

Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. manufactures electric wires, cables, and their related equipment.  The Company's products include optical fibers, wire harnesses, antennas for broadcasting stations, and electric monitoring systems.  Sumitomo Electric also produces disc brakes and antilock braking systems for automobiles and printed circuit board.

Stanley Electric Co., Ltd. manufactures lighting equipment including head lights, HID (High Intensity Discharge) assist lamps, and rear combination lamps for automobiles.  The Company also produces LCD (Liquid Cristal Display) and LED (Light Emitted Diode) lamps for communication equipment, office automation equipment, and information displays.

The Yokohama Rubber Company Limited produces rubber products including automobile tires, tubes, and conveyor belt for industrial use.  The Company also produces golf clubs and passenger aircraft parts such as restroom units and tanks for drinking water.

KOITO MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. produces lighting equipments for automobiles such as head and tail lights, rear combination lamps, and fog lamps.  The Company has  its production facilities in Japan, the US, the UK, Czech, China, Thailand, Taiwan, and India.  Koito Manufacturing also manufactures electronics parts for aircrafts including lighting equipments and oil pressure gauges.

NIFCO INC. manufactures synthetic resinous fasteners and plastic components for automobiles and home electronic appliances.  The Company has its subsidiaries in Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the US.

NOK CORPORATION manufactures oil seals and industrial rubber products for automobiles.  The Company also produces electronic equipment used for cellular phones and PCs.  NOK has production facilities in Taiwan and Thailand.

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. manufactures automobile and motorcycle tires, industrial rubber products and sports equipment.  The Company's products include golf balls, tennis rackets, rubber gloves, and artificial turf. Sumitomo Rubber sells its products under Dunlop brand around the world.

TS TECH CO., LTD. manufactures seats for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. The Company also produces other automobile accessories.

Toyo Tire Corporation manufactures and markets rubber and chemical goods.  The Company's products include motor vehicle tires, aluminum alloy wheels, office equipment parts, heat resistant board, and automobile parts such as bumpers and air bag systems.  Toyo Tire & Rubber has its  subsidiaries in the  US, Australia, Canada, Germany, and China.

Cheng Shin Rubber Industry Co., Ltd. manufactures tires.  The Company produces bicycle, radial, bias, motorcycle, agricultural, and industrial tires.  Cheng Shin markets its tires and tubes in Taiwan as well as exports to North America and Europe.

Sailun Group Co.,Ltd. manufactures and sells rubber tire products. The Company produces commercial car tires, truck tires, special tires, and other products. Sailun Group also produces mechanical equipment, molds, chemicals, and other products.

Modine Manufacturing Company manufactures heat-transfer and heat-storage technology products.  The Company develops, manufactures, and markets heat exchangers and systems for use in various original equipment manufacturer applications and for sale to the automotive aftermarket and to a wide array of building markets.

Bosch Limited manufactures a wide range of automotive parts. The Company'products includes fuel injection pumps, spark plugs, including nozzles and nozzle holders, elements, delivery valves, filters and filter inserts, glow plugs, starter motors, alternators and wipers. Bosch also manufactures hydraulics and pneumatic equipment and electric power tools and fixtures.

China Shipbuilding Industry Group Power Co., Ltd. designs, produces, and markets power systems including electricity, gas, steam, chemical, diesel, civil-nuclear, and stirling engines.

Huayu Automotive Systems Company Limited manufactures and sells auto parts. The Company's main products include interior and exterior auto parts, functional assembly autoparts and thermo processed auto parts etc.

Gentex Corporation designs, manufactures, and markets products that use electro-optic technology.  The Company's product lines include automatic-dimming rearview mirrors and fire protection products.  Gentex's Night Vision Safety Mirror automatically darkens to the degree required to eliminate rearview headlight glare.  The Company sells its products around the world.

Bharat Forge Limited manufactures steel forgings and machined components for the automotive, diesel engine, railway, earthmoving, cement, sugar, steel, coal, ship building and oilfield industries. The Company specializes in Closed Die as well as Open Die Forgings.

Lear Corporation manufactures automobile parts.  The Company produces seating systems; wiring harnesses; terminals; connectors; junction boxes; body control electronics; wireless products; and audio systems.

Aisin Corporation manufactures and distributes motor vehicle parts. The Company produces drive train, transmissions, clutches, disc brakes, anti-skid brake system, suspensions, oil pumps, power windows, power door locks, and more. Aisin operates sales and production subsidiaries worldwide.
