<li>On 2 April, <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/austal-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:14420:1" rel="noopener">Austal Ltd (ASB AU)</a> rejected a non-binding proposal from <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/hanwha-ocean-co-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:12531:1" rel="noopener">Hanwha Ocean (042660 KS)</a> at A$2.825 due to concerns about obtaining Australian and US regulatory approvals. </li>
<li>The Board’s claims are on shaky grounds. On 1 May, the AFR reported that Australian Defence Minister Richard Marles had no concerns with Hanwha’s privatisation bid. </li>
<li>The Board’s rejection is a clumsy attempt to negotiate better terms, such as a bump, ticking fees, or significant break fees. At the last close, the gross spread was 21.8%. </li>

<ul><li>Sam Goi continues to boost his stakes in PSC and GSH INSTITUTIONS were net sellers of Singapore stocks over the four trading sessions from Apr 5 to 11, with S$44 million of net institutional outflow, as 21 primary-listed companies conducted buybacks with a total consideration of S$25 million.</li><li>He acquired 144,700 shares of the company at S$0.352 per share, taking his total interest from 30.74 per cent to 30.77 per cent.</li><li>Goi also bought more shares of GSH Corporation, where he also serves as executive chairman.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Director filings and buybacks continue at stronger pace INSTITUTIONS were net sellers of Singapore stocks over the five trading sessions through to Mar 7, with S$224 million of net institutional outflow, as 26 primary-listed companies conducted buybacks with a total consideration of S$24.4 million, quadrupling the buyback consideration of the preceding five sessions.</li><li>This increased his total interest from 53.27 per cent to 53.61 per cent.</li><li>This followed his acquisition of 4.5 million shares between Feb 27 and 28.</li></ul>

Director filings and buybacks continue at stronger pace INSTITUTIONS were net sellers of Singapore stocks over the five trading sessions through to Mar 7, with S$224 million of net institutional outflow, as 26 primary-listed companies conducted buybacks with a total consideration of S$24.4 million, quadrupling the buyback consideration of the preceding five sessions.This increased his total interest from 53.27 per cent to 53.61 per cent.This followed his acquisition of 4.5 million shares between Feb 27 and 28.

Terex Corporation is a diversified global manufacturer operating in four business segments: aerial work platforms; construction; cranes; and materials processing.  Terex manufactures a broad range of equipment for use in various industries including the construction, infrastructure, quarrying, mining, shipping, transportation, refining, energy and utility industries.

Avic Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. develops, manufactures, and markets hydraulic pumps and motors, Rzeppa constant velocity joints, and other  related products.

EnPro Industries, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, and markets proprietary engineered industrial products.
