CrossBorder Capital is a London-based independent investment advisory firm. Founded in 1996, it exploits a gap in the investment arena by focusing on Central bank liquidity. 

It specialises in the monitoring and analysis of global liquidity flows - an important determinant of asset prices, from currencies through to bonds, equities and real estate.

CrossBorder Capital implements its investment strategy and currently manages over US$ 350m.

<li>Global Liquidity is at ‘maximum tightness’ and is already starting to inch higher. 2023 could see strong gains, as did 2001 following Y2K</li>
<li>China’s PBoC has jump-started liquidity injections and the US Fed is again adding liquidity (US$109 billion). On top the weaker US dollar and oil prices will underpin rising liquidity</li>
<li>Taking 2001 as the benchmark year for 2023: bonds will be flat and stocks at best range bound, but generally weak. Profits may suffer for another 15-18 months. </li>

<li>The $SPX has been unable to sustain a breakout above its 200-day MA/YTD downtrend, the $IWM remains below $190 resistance, and the DJIA could not sustain a breakout above 34,280</li>
<li>As long as these indexes are below these levels, we continue to see this as a good time to shift to more defensive areas and/or take profits.</li>
</ul>
