The deal will price on 6 October and the shares are due to list on 14 October. </p><div class="content-highlight"><p>At first glance, PHC offers solid growth, stable and healthy margins along with solid cash generation. However, on an organic basis, the revenue has declined in each of the last two financial years. The strong growth in the recent first quarter was largely due to low comps and an unsustainable revenue boost from COVID-19 related products. On balance, we think that PHC’s fundamentals are mixed and we are inclined to watch this IPO from the sidelines. </p></div>

The growth has mainly been driven by acquisition of a number of firms over the reporting period. </p><p>Although, its main division, Diabetes Management appears to be suffering from a decline in revenue that has been going on for a while. In addition, it's difficult to pinpoint the growth of its other segments owing to the acquisitions having been completed mid-year.</p><p>Furthermore, it's not clear to us how the company acts as one firm, as all of its acquired firms appear to be working independently and there hasn’t been much mention of synergies.</p>

According to the bankers' valuation, the expected market cap of SK IET is from 5.6 trillion won to 7.5 trillion won. SK IET IPO will be the biggest IPO in Korea so far this year, beating <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/sk-bioscience-co-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:31484:1" rel="noopener">SK Bioscience (302440 KS)</a> which recently raised $1.3 billion in its IPO in March. </li>
<li>The company will offer 21.39 million shares in the IPO (8.56 million new shares and 12.83 million old shares). The offered shares of 21.39 million represents nearly 30% of the outstanding shares (post IPO), which is large relative to its total outstanding shares. SK Innovation, which has a 90% stake in SK IET, plans to sell a 22.7% stake in the company in this IPO. In September 2020, SK Innovation sold a 10% stake in <a href="https://www.kedglobal.com/newsView/ked202009220004" target="_blank" rel="noopener">SK IET</a> for 300 billion won to Premier Partners, a local fund management company. </li>

SK IET plans to complete its IPO in May.  The IPO price range is from 78,000 won to 105,000 won. The IPO base deal size is from $1.5 billion to $2.0 billion.
