It was a busy Friday with a bunch of indices rebalancing at the close and big volumes trading on a lot of stocks.

Brilliance China Automotive (1114 HK) had a good week with the stock rallying on Thursday and Friday on huge volumes amid expectations of upcoming passive buying.
A quiet week for ETFs with mainland China ETFs seeing some outflows after the huge inflows over the last couple of months.

<li>We believe that the overall sentiment on the rechargeable battery sector in Korea has started to turn sour which could have a further negative impact on companies such as LGES. </li>

LGES provided a lower sales guidance in 3Q 2023 due to slower sales in Europe. LGES expects its sales in 3Q 2023 to decline in a QoQ basis.

<li>From a trading perspective, it's important to focus on the potential price impact of this flow event on Celltrion, which could be amplified depending on the possibility of merger cancellation.</li>
