Japfa Comfeed’s FY 2018 results were strong. Revenue growth was good, driven by higher volumes and selling prices. Profitability and the financial risk profile both improved significantly, and liquidity is adequate. We believe that upwards pressure is building on Japfa Comfeed's current ratings (BB- and BB- from S&P and Fitch, respectively). Our Credit Bias on Japfa Comfeed is “Positive”, on account of the company’s strong competitive position, as well as its improving and sound financial risk profile. We maintain our “Hold” recommendation on the JPFAIJ '22s, which seem to be fairly valued.
