<ul><li>Actively traded high-turnover stocks in 2023 YTD This year, close to a quarter of Singapore’s 100 most actively traded stocks have registered double-digit percentage growth in daily trading turnover from their respective 2022 levels.</li><li>This saw the stock rank among the 85 most traded stocks so far this year, after ranking just outside the 170 most traded stocks in 2022.</li></ul>

Vibrant activity among top traded stocks on SGX

<ul><li>Within the Singapore stock market, Sembcorp Industries and Seatrium have booked the most net institutional fund inflows in the year to Jul 18.</li><li>Seatrium has been Singapore’s sixth most traded stock, while Sembcorp Industries has ranked among the 15 most traded stocks, up from ranking among the 30 most traded stocks in 2022.</li><li>Overall, Singapore Exchange-listed stocks have booked S$2.8 billion of net institutional fund outflow and S 4 billion of net retail inflow in the 2023 year to Jul 18.</li></ul>

Within the Singapore stock market, Sembcorp Industries and Seatrium have booked the most net institutional fund inflows in the year to Jul 18.Seatrium has been Singapore’s sixth most traded stock, while Sembcorp Industries has ranked among the 15 most traded stocks, up from ranking among the 30 most traded stocks in 2022.Overall, Singapore Exchange-listed stocks have booked S$2.8 billion of net institutional fund outflow and S 4 billion of net retail inflow in the 2023 year to Jul 18.

Taking stock of institutional and retail fund flows

<ul><li>Singapore’s visitor arrivals surpassed 1 million in April 2023, the highest in a month since the pandemic, bringing the total number of visitor arrivals to over 4 million in the year-to-date (YTD).</li><li>The 10 stocks booked net institutional inflows of S$186.7 million, while the broader Singapore stock market recorded over S$2.3 billion of net institutional outflows.</li><li>In the YTD ending 18 May 2023, Genting booked the highest net institutional inflows across the Singapore stock market.</li></ul>

Tourism and Hospitality Stocks Benefit from Recovery Momentum

<ul><li>Global consumer non-cyclical stocks have ranked among the three most strongest performing sectors since the global spotlight on US regional banks began on 9 March through to 5 May.</li><li>At the same time, the consumer cyclical sector has ranked among the three most strongest performing sectors since the beginning of 2023.</li><li>Over the past 17 weeks, Golden Agri-Resources ranked as Singapore’s fifth most traded consumer stock while booking the tenth highest net institutional inflow across the Singapore stock market and generating a 6% total return.</li></ul>

Stamford Land Corporation Limited is an investment holding company.  The Company owns and manages hotels and travel agencies.  Stamford Land Corporation also develops and invests in properties.

Centurion Corporation Limited owns, develops and manages quality, purpose-built workers accommodation assets in Singapore and Malaysia, and purpose-built student accommodation assets in Singapore, Australia, the United Kingdom (“UK”), the United States (“US”) and South Korea.

Straco Corporation Limited develops and operates aquatic related facilities and tourism related activities.  The Group also operates cable car facilities and provides management and consulting services.

Kimly Limited operates and manages coffee shops and food courts. The Company offers prepared foods and drinks for on-premise consumption. Kimly serves customers in Singapore.

Amara Holdings Limited operates hotels and restaurants, provides food and beverage catering services as well as develops and invests in properties.  The Company owns and operates Amara Hotel and invests in shares.

Banyan Tree Holdings Limited owns and manages hotels. The Company also operates spas, galleries and golf courses, and invests in property. Banyan Tree offers design and project management services as well.

MGM China Holdings Ltd. owns a luxury resort, hotel, and casino located in Macau. The Company is also exploring other casino gaming development opportunities in Macau.

Wynn Resorts, Limited owns and operates luxury hotels and destination casino resorts in Las Vegas, Nevada, Macau, and China. The Company offers amenities such as guest rooms and suites, restaurants, golf course, and an on-site luxury automotive dealership.

McDonald's Holdings Company (Japan), Ltd. operates a hamburger fast food restaurant chain throughout Japan.  The Company operates its own stores and franchise stores.

Jubilant Foodworks Ltd. owns and operates fast food chains. The Company offers donuts, baked goods, coffee, bagels, muffin, fruit milkshakes, smoothies, tea, sandwiches, pizza, and beverages. Jubilant Foodworks serves its products to customers throughout India.

Jollibee Foods Corporation owns, franchises and manages a network of fast food restaurants under the trade name Jollibee. The Company was incorporated in 1978.

Minor International PCL is a global company focused on three primary businesses including restaurants, hotels and lifestyle brands distribution.

ZENSHO Holdings CO., LTD. operates a fast food chain specialized in GYUDON which serves bowls of rice topped with seasoned beef based in Kanto.      The Company operates also diversifying into other types of food chains such as "Coco's" and "Big Boy" in Japan.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. operates a fleet of passenger cruise ships. The Company offers an array of cruise itineraries as well as theme cruises, while markets its services through various distribution channels including retail and travel agents, consumer direct, international sales, as well as incentive sales. Norwegian Cruise extends its services worldwide.

Wingstop Inc. owns and operates restaurants. The Company specializes in cooked-to-order, hand-sauced, and tossed chicken wings. Wingstop serves customers worldwide.

Indian Hotels Company Limited operates The Taj Group of hotels.  The Company owns or maintains long term leases/licenses for hotels in India, in addition to International hotels.  The Group's hotels are divided into three groups: Luxury, Business, and, Leisure.

Genting Singapore Limited, through its subsidiaries, develops resort properties as well as operates casinos. The Company has casinos and integrated resorts in different parts of the world, including Australia, the Americas, Malaysia, the Philippines and the United Kingdom.
