With the COVID-19 ravaging small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across its main markets, its questionable if the company can deliver on near term growth.  In this insight, I'll take a look at the company's FY20 results (year ending Mar 20) which were reported earlier today.

With the COVID-19 ravaging small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across its main markets, its questionable if the company can deliver on near term growth.  In this insight, I'll take a look at the company's FY20 results (year ending Mar 20) which were reported earlier today.

Xero Results Update: Good Results, Tepid Outlook. Earnings Cut Making It Even More Expensive

The company is a classic SaaS business offering cloud based accounting. It was set up in New Zealand in 2006 and was listed in 2007, raising a total of NZ$15m. The business is today worth US$6bn. However, XRO mostly caters to small business owners in Australia, NZ, and UK, along with other geographies. With the COVID-19 ravaging small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across its main markets, its questionable if the company can deliver on near term growth.  If the crisis lasts a few months, its growth over the next 2-3 years might be put in question as well.While the recurring revenue will keep the business running, the valuation isn't really factoring in a slowdown.

Attractive and actionable themes highlighted in today’s report include IT Services/Tech Software, Communications, Precious Metals, and Utilities.

Serko Ltd operates as an online corporate travel booking and expense management company.

SmartPay Holdings Limited is a developer and distributor of electronic prepay solutions. The Company's solutions including network distribution for mobile phones, international calling cards, Internet services, gift cards and a range of other products.

Enprise Group Limited provides software products and solutions. The Company offers software solutions for for the MYOB EXO software platform as well as develops business software and add on modules. Enprise Group serves a variety of businesses across Australia and New Zealand.

Rakon Ltd. manufactures frequency control products.  The Company produces crystal and oscillator products for global positioning, wireless, networking, cellular, telecommunications, radio, and microwave products.

Mykco Limited offers internet access services, develops application software, and provides information technology products and services.  The Company operates in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

ikeGPS Group Limited develops and produces location-based measurement devices and accessories to integrate digital camera and laser range finder technologies. The Company offers devices and accessories to capture a GPS location and photo of remote targets, and measures the distance and heights of objects.

Geo Limited offers cloud-based job management solutions. The Company engages in development and commercial deployment of cloud-based mobile workforce productivity technologies that allows real time job scheduling, vehicle tracking, job updates, maps, directions, import of parts and materials, job sheets, quotes, and invoices. Geo serves customers worldwide.

Solution Dynamics Limited provides data processing, laser printing, mail processing, electronic archiving, print broking and data capture services in New Zealand.

CAPCOM CO., LTD. develops consumer video game software.  The Company also develops, manufactures, markets, and leases arcade game machines.  Capcom also operates amusement facilities.

Aspen Technology, Inc. provides software solutions. The Company offers asset optimization software that optimizes asset design, operations, and maintenance in complex, industrial environments to enable organizations to meet their business goals for sustainability and profitability. Aspen Technology serves customers worldwide.

Paycom Software Inc provides cloud-based HCM software solution delivered as Software-as-a-Service.  The Company provides functionality and data analytics that businesses need to manage the complete employment life cycle from recruitment to retirement.

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. develops, markets and supports a range of software and hardware products and services for information technology (IT) security and offers its customers a network and gateway security solutions, data and endpoint security solutions and management solutions.

SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. develops and markets computer software for financial services providers.  The software enables trading and modeling, portfolio management and reporting, accounting, performance measurement, reconciliation, reporting, processing, and clearing.

Manhattan Associates, Inc. provides information technology solutions for distribution centers.  The solutions are designed to enable the efficient movement of goods through the supply chain.  The Company's solutions optimize the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, as well as manage equipment and personnel within a distribution center.

Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd. provides comprehensive information technology solutions to the financial services industry worldwide. The Company provides transaction processing and accounting software for banks, investment managers and mutual funds. Oracle Financial also provides internet delivery of financial services as well as business intelligence and analytical applications.

PTC Inc. develops and delivers technology solutions, comprised of software and services. The Company's technology is primarily used by discrete manufacturers to design, operate and maintain complex products. PTC's technology is also used to connect products to the Internet for purposes of capturing and analyzing information from them.

Globant S.A. is a software solutions company. The Company provides engineering, design, and innovation services for clients throughout North America and Europe.

Konami Holdings Corporation provides digital entertainment, health and fitness and gaming products. The Company develops and sells video games, mobile games and computer games, gaming machines, pachislot and pachinko machines, and fitness machines as well as operates health and fitness clubs.

Xero Limited offers an online accounting system.  The software features bank transaction importing, a cashbook, a general ledger, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, and management of expense claims.
