<li>A noteworthy flow trend in the Korean stock market is the National Pension Service's local equity purchase. For this, they tend to overweight those previously underweighted blue-chip stocks. </li>
<li>All of the top 10 most net-bought stocks by local pensions on April 18-26 are KOSPI 200 constituents. And most of them all have a relatively small NPS-owned stake.</li>
<li>Most of them have significantly outperformed the KOSPI 200 (-0.90%) during this period.</li>
</ul>


A noteworthy flow trend in the Korean stock market is the National Pension Service's local equity purchase. For this, they tend to overweight those previously underweighted blue-chip stocks. 
All of the top 10 most net-bought stocks by local pensions on April 18-26 are KOSPI 200 constituents. And most of them all have a relatively small NPS-owned stake.
Most of them have significantly outperformed the KOSPI 200 (-0.90%) during this period.


Noteworthy Flow Trend: Korea NPS Overweighting Local Equity

<li>I first screened those with a sigma below -1.0 on a 20D MA relative to Ords. I then filtered those having underperformed the common shares on a YTD price performance.</li>
<li>As a result, I have the following four preferred shares: Samsung Electronics 1P, Hyundai Motor 1P, Daishin Securities 1P, and Doosan Corp 1P.</li>
<li>As for the pref/ord dividend yield difference, Hyundai Motor 1P's dividend yield difference has widened considerably compared to the past three years.</li>

I first screened those with a sigma below -1.0 on a 20D MA relative to Ords. I then filtered those having underperformed the common shares on a YTD price performance.
As a result, I have the following four preferred shares: Samsung Electronics 1P, Hyundai Motor 1P, Daishin Securities 1P, and Doosan Corp 1P.

<li>Among these 20 most shorted stocks in KOSPI, three stocks with the biggest decline in shorts on a one month basis included Krafton, Kumho Petro Chemical, and Samsung Heavy Industries. </li>
