Aequitas 2024 Asia IPO Pipeline - ASEAN and ANZ

<li>Temasek raised around US$300m via its secondary selldown in <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/singapore-airlines-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:74:1" rel="noopener">Singapore Airlines (SIA SP)</a> in Jun 2023. The lockup from that placement will expire soon.</li>
<li>Temasek still owns over 50% of SIA and hence, any selldown might not come before SIA reports its 1H23/24 results in mid-Nov 2023.</li>

Keppel Infrastructure Trust / Equity Capital Markets

<li>The proceeds in the deal will be used to partially pay down its bridge loan, the latter used in a series of acquisitions made by the REIT in 2022.</li>
<li>Including the preferential offering, the deal would be a large one to digest at 9.4% of the REIT’s current mcap and 89.3 days of three month ADV. </li>

<li>We have earlier covered the previous six placements for the REIT since 2017. Most of the past deals have done well except for the two most recent ones.</li>
<li>In this note, we will run the deal through our ECM framework and talk about deal dynamics.</li>

<li>This compares to the average premium for all deals in 2022 (106 deals), 2021 (165 deals), 2020 (158 deals), and 2019 (145 deals) of 41%, 33%, 31%, and 31% respectively.</li>
