<p>Sportswear giant Under Armour reported its Q3 financial performance for the period ending 30 September 2016, and although it continues to provide robust growth with a revenue increase of 22%, the strong performance was eclipsed by declining margins and CEO Kevin Plank’s comments suggesting a slowdown in future growth. Despite net income rising by 28.0%, gross margin slid to 47.5%, down from 48.8% last year, with the company adversely impacted by increased promotions, foreign exchange rates and the liquidation of speciality retailer Sports Authority.</p>
