<p>Major export growth for China is a mixed bag. Crude oil decreased by 69%, but all other decreases were in the -25% or lower range. When we see export growth decrease 0%, we take that to mean the number was not reported for the category or are negligible. On the positive side of growth, rice and corn are leaving China at much higher rates. China is also willing to part with coal right now, which has a 13% growth rate. Overall in figure 1, though, export growth is negative in more categories than positive.</p>
