<p>Consumer electronics giant Sony, best known for producing PlayStation consoles, Xperia phones and the Bravia range of TVs is crowdfunding a project to manufacture portable AC units. The device, known as the Reon Pocket, can be worn on a specially made under shirt which can be purchased along with the AC units. With heatwaves now being a common occurrence globally, Sony is supporting the project under its crowdfunding platform known as First Flight. The device, upon initial roll out, is expected to be available in Japan in time for the 2020 Summer Olympics.</p>
