BACKGROUND
I have 20+yrs experience in Asia doing alternative strategies (i.e. non-delta1 non long-only) in fixed income, equity derivatives, and activist/catalyst/event-driven and long-short equity strategies with most of that time spent managing money. 

4 years in fixed income macro, 8 years running internal hedge fund and 4yrs investment banking at Citi in Japan, 3 years running an Asia multi-strat portfolio at a hedge fund, 4+yrs as an independent special situations analyst.

But I think it is worthwhile.In late December 2020, the Board of <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/niit-ltd" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:4772:1" rel="noopener">NIIT Ltd (NIIT IN)</a> met to approve a proposal for a Share Buyback. A Postal Ballot followed and was passed. On 15 February the Public Announcement was made with a Record Date of 24 February. The Buyback was set to open on 12 April 2021 and end on 28 April 2021. On 5 April 2021, we got the <a href="https://www.sebi.gov.in/filings/buybacks/apr-2021/niit-ltd-letter-of-offer_49755.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Letter of Offer</a>.If you own the stock, in an active or passive portfolio, you should consider the parameters and the possibilities.
