The speculation is that the consortium will make a binding offer at HKD3.30 (36.9% above today’s close which is itself a 53.5% rise on yesterday’s close). We believe the rumour is credible. We believe the bid may overvalue the company. We also believe it is likely to come through regardless. Details below.</p>
