Steno Research is a new macro and geopolitical research house. We are based out of Copenhagen, Denmark, but have an international team and a strong network of sources and partners around the world. The team is lead by Andreas Steno, previous global head of strategy at Nordea Bank, and Mikkel Rosenvold, former chief consultant in the Danish Ministry of Finance.

<ul><li>The last NFP report caught markets’ attention with payroll data beating expectations massively on the upside, shuffling Fed pricing and showcasing a labor market that is far from done.</li><li>The labor market is not exactly the easiest part of the economy to grasp, as you need to aggregate multiple different surveys and data points from different sources, which sometimes can diverge greatly from each other, leaving us with the job of pointing out the correct data from the other.</li><li>We’ll try our best to do that today.</li></ul>
