In its monthly update, HKBN mentions I Squared has finished DD and is finalising a possible pre-con offer. IF I Squared does make a higher firm Offer (doubtful in my view), I don't expect China Mobile to bump terms until I Squared has secured the necessary approvals. In this current environment, how welcome is a US-listed entity taking over a sensitive telco asset? Not welcome would be my guess.
