<p>Now it is clear that Europe has passed the peak we turn our attention to the likely wide variety of policies each country will follow when easing restrictions.  This will allow policymakers to adapt their strategies.  Some will follow the Asian model of tracking and tracing, but others may be more liberal.  We believe that children will be allowed back to school relatively early and that some form of vetting will allow individuals to get back to work in a more normal way.</p><p>We also address the idea that European countries may have accidentally followed a path that allows them to ramp up their economies much more rapidly than Asia.  Greater levels of immunity and lower levels of fear may help Europe and the US.</p>
