<p>We visited <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/8914" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:8914:1">Bridgestone Corp (5108 JP)</a> on Friday and found conditions to be relatively healthy overall. Risks remain for the major N. American market as volumes are weak in the passenger segment but price hikes conducted during 2Q should help boost profitability in the second half. Elsewhere, the domestic market continues to be strong although hurdles will be slightly higher in the second half as a result of stronger production in 2H last FY following the recovery from the Kumamoto earthquake…</p>
