<li>Meanwhile, the September (final) durable goods orders dropped by 0.7% (-0.9% p), slightly below the preliminary reading of -0.8%.</li>
<li>Treasuries climbed yesterday, as the market pared expectations of a Donald Trump victory in the US presidential election after a weekend poll surprisingly showed current Vice-President Kamala Harris with a narrow lead in Iowa (a state comfortably won by Mr Trump in 2016 and 2020). This was partly offset by a soft auction for 3Y notes. The UST curve bull-flattened, with the yield on the 2Y UST falling 5 bps to 4.16% and the 10Y down 10 bps at 4.29%.</li>

In the US, September factory orders fell 0.5% m-o-m (-0.5% e / -0.8% revised p).

Yuexiu Property's (YXP) FY 2023 results were largely stable and in line with our expectations. The company reported strong contracted sales and top-line growth, albeit the margins weakened in tandem with industry trends. Leverage was mixed, as net debt crept up slightly. Importantly, liquidity appears sound, supported by YXP's healthy access to financing. The company remains active in land acquisitions and has a good quality land bank, with 95% of its projects in Tier 1 and 2 cities.
