Tencent (700 HK) Earning Preview: To Stop Decreasing in 3Q22, and an Upside of 67%

<li>Today Prosus announced that it will begin an open-ended share repurchase programme of Prosus and Naspers shares which will be funded by on-market sale of Tencent shares.</li>
<li>Prosus also announced that it has sold its entire shareholding in JD.com, to raise US$3.67bn, on-market in Jun 2022.</li>

<li>On Friday, the CSRC published a new Strengthening Confidentiality and File Management Related to Overseas Issuance to replace 2009 rules. </li>
<li>Importantly, the revised Provisions deletes the stipulation that “on-site inspections shall be dominated by domestic regulators or depend on the conclusions of inspections by domestic regulators.” Will it be enough?</li>
