The bear market rally that we have discussed since our Sept. 29 Int'l Compass has managed to surpass our price targets, which were YTD downtrends on the ACWX-US and EFA-US.
As a result of these bullish reversals and breakdowns on the US dollar (DXY) and 10-year Treasury yield, we are upgrading our outlook to neutral.

<li>The 1st quarter is relatively a lower season. Therefore, we expect that the revenue/NM is about RMB$8. 7bn/9.0% in 1Q22 respectively, which declines ~10% QoQ and grow 30% YoY. </li>
<li>To our understanding, QCOM is still the biggest client in JCET. The rest of clients have changing a bit in JCET since Huawei was being driven out.</li>
<li>Overall speaking, China is devoted in developing OSAT (Outsource Semiconductor Assembly and Packaging) business, and the gap shall be close to ASEH and Amkor. </li>
</ul>

<li>The GlobalWafers announced the deal to merge Siltronic did not get the approval by Germany government this morning. <strong>We maintain our Target Price for GlobalWafers doesn’t change at NT$880~960.</strong>
</li>
<li>The GlobalWafers points out that the results will not influence business activities, and the European market remains the importance for GlobalWafers.</li>
<li>
<strong>Comparing to 20s years ago, we think the semiconductor market has experienced a dramatic changes already</strong>.</li>

The GlobalWafers announced the deal to merge Siltronic did not get the approval by Germany government this morning. We maintain our Target Price for GlobalWafers doesn’t change at NT$880~960.

The GlobalWafers points out that the results will not influence business activities, and the European market remains the importance for GlobalWafers.

Comparing to 20s years ago, we think the semiconductor market has experienced a dramatic changes already.

<li>Market dynamics continue to deteriorate and there are plenty of reasons to be concerned, which we outline below.</li>
<li>With that said, the bottom line is that the Russell 2000 index (IWM) is above $208 support and the Russell Micro Caps index (IWC) is above $135 support.</li>
<li>As long as these supports hold we expect more consolidation and mixed markets ahead, but we would turn bearish on breakdowns.</li>
</ul>
