<p>SPA reported 1Q21 net loss at Bt76m, compared to net profit of Bt4m in 1Q20 and net loss of Bt78m in 4Q20.</p><div>• The slightly improved QoQ performance was a result from efficiency in managing cost of sales and service such as discount in rental and switch from fixed rental to variable rental based on company’s revenue.</div><div></div><div>• Meanwhile, 1Q21 revenue was at Bt55m (-77%YoY, -32%QoQ), eroded by new wave of COVID-19 pandemic, resulting a temporary closure of spa branches between 2-22 Jan 21.</div><div></div><div>• We expect 2Q21 earnings to remain as revenue should still be under pressure by border closure and Thailand’s third wave of COVID-19.</div><div></div><div>• Government’s approval of its three-stage roadmap to reopen six major tourist provinces for vaccinated foreign tourists.</div><div></div><div><strong>Given the domestic vaccination rolling out and SPA soft reopening in 3Q21, we upgrade our recommendation to BUY rating, from HOLD, with a target price of Bt9.20 based on 40.3xPE’22E, which is its three-year trading average.</strong></div>
