Auctus Advisors is a specialist Equity Capital Markets and Advisory business with a focus in the Energy Sector. The partners have complementary skill sets, with decades of experience across Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking and the Energy industry. We have worked at Société Générale, Canaccord Capital, BMO Capital Markets and Schlumberger. Most recently we have worked together for many years at GMP FirstEnergy. Auctus has been set up at the beginning of a new decade in which we see significant opportunities in the Energy space. Globally, demand for energy is at record levels and continues to grow. Conversely, investment in traditional energy sources has been severely constrained. We believe this imbalance creates opportunities for both companies and investors. Auctus provides Corporate Broking, Equity Research and Investment Banking services.

Serica Energy Plc (AIM: SQZ): Triton Back on Stream. Compressor Vulnerability to Be Fixed in 1Q25.

<li>Serica is acquiring the UK assets of the Parkmead Group for an initial consideration US$6.5 mm in cash.</li>
<li>The transaction includes 50% WI in the Skerryvore prospect (Serica already owns 20%) and 50% in Fynn Beauly (heavy oil discovery).</li>
<li>An additional deferred consideration of US$11.7 mm will be paid in stages over the next 3 years.</li>

<li>These repairs are expected to take 2-4 weeks.</li>
<li>We are now cautiously assuming that Triton will be offline until YE24.</li>

<li>While the new fiscal regime for UK upstream oil and gas in yesterday’s UK budget incorporates a 3% increase in EPL (to 38%) and the elimination of the 29% investment uplift allowance for EPL purposes, this is a better outcome than feared.</li>
<li>While these changes were expected, the industry and investors had been concerned by the possibility that capex investment might not be fully deductible for EPL purposes.</li>
<li>That risk has now been removed.</li>
</ul>
