President Energy PLC engages in the exploration, evaluation, and production of oil and gas properties in South America and Australia. It holds a 64% working interest in the Pirity concession, a 10% working interest in the Demattei concession, and a 40% working interest in the Hernandarias concession that are located in Paraguay. The company also holds a 100% working interest in the CNO-8 Puesto Guardian license covering 633 square kilometers, as well as 100% interests in Matorras and Ocultar licenses covering an area of 2,203 square kilometers situated in Argentina. In addition, it holds interests in two producing oil and gas fields in Louisiana, as well as a 100% interests in the Otway Basin in South Australia. The company was formerly known as President Petroleum Company PLC and changed its name to President Energy PLC in September 2012. President Energy PLC was incorporated in 2004 and is headquartered in Leeds, the United Kingdom.
