Prior to that, he also served as Kasikornbank credit analyst and scholar. He has a total work experience of 17 years, of which 14 were in research and 4 in research management roles. He started his career as an engineer for PTT and currently manages family investments. He holds an MBA from Stern (NYU) and CFA Charter since 2006. A lot has been made of the capital controls in Turkey and the 7% tumble in the lira against the USD in recent weeks. It has dragged down many emerging markets currency and led to renewed sell-off in Asian markets, including Thailand. Our position, which was largely positive this month, turned into an immediate loss a few days after the crisis, so it's fair to say that MCorp Review has taken note of this.<ul>
