Technical Analysis

<li>Nikkei met our 29,200 long zone to add to our 27,050 long. Pivot support at 28,800. </li>
<li>Macro correction from February to August is viewed as a bullish platform. Rising wedge is the near term driver. </li>
<li>30,200 is the hurdle to clear to provide fuel for a rise to our 31,000 December target. 2022 macro target remains at 32,500.</li>

Nikkei met our 29,200 long zone to add to our 27,050 long. Pivot support at 28,800. 
Macro correction from February to August is viewed as a bullish platform. Rising wedge is the near term driver. 
30,200 is the hurdle to clear to provide fuel for a rise to our 31,000 December target. 2022 macro target remains at 32,500.


<p>Nikkei's falling knife low is now showing rally energy again with 29,200 the key level to clear for upside to re test the 30,000 congestion zone and mend the downside undershoot.</p><p>Two long attempts were stopped out on the way down.</p><p>We then took a bigger long at 27,050 as a key inflection low on a bet that we at least get a reaction back up. Japan has a history of sharp downside moves followed by recoveries that overshoot on the upside.</p><p>29,200 is a key pivot to clear or we get a fresh pullback. We outline pullback support and our November upside target.</p>
