We provide a historical perspective that often reveals, through our long-term charts, how price patterns often repeat themselves over time.

Technical Analysis

With the S&amp;P 500 breaking above the June highs and the Russell 2000 bullishly inflecting topside a ~1-month base, it signals a continuation of the uptrends that began in March... see charts below. Therefore, we continue to have a bullish outlook and we believe the path of least resistance remains higher. Mid - July peak in risk is expected to be an overlapping choppy affair into next week where the market will still wants to test the upside and a second failure would nail down a peak for a heavier cycle in July. NDX key reversal is a key first step. US speed bumps in reopening should hit sentiment/price action as virus cases spike with the US administration coming under increasing scrutiny. After spiking off low bases US data is bound to face weakness into September.Webcast covers colors in an NDX (bounce resistance and pivot support that must break to induce a harder US equity cycle), risk FX that are teetering on rolling over, VIX and trendline support in Europe that once broken would trigger a secondary decline.Russell 2000 has been our top short pick/vehicle and pressing on triangle support.
