Korean EV battery unit play LG Energy Solution (373220 KS) briefly doubled on its debut yesterday before closing 65.8% higher. 
Following that gain, LG Energy is now the second-largest company in KOSPI after Samsung Electronics (005930 KS).

LG Chem Ltd (051910 KS) has given back all its gains from earlier this month, and currently trades at ~60% discount to NAV.

<li>The review period for the March rebalance ends on 31 January, the announcement of the changes will be end February/beginning March, implementation will be at the close on 10 March.</li>

<li>Shorts have soared in Korea following the resumption of short selling, while short interest has increased in the other countries too.</li>
<li>Ping An Insurance and BYD had the biggest short covering, while China Merchants Bank saw the largest increase in shorts over the year.</li>
