<p>World economic growth is set to improve to 3.5% this year from 3.1% in 2016, the IMF said in its latest World Economic Outlook report. The forecast was raised from 3.4% in October. </p><p>The growth forecast for the U.S. for this year was raised to 2.3% from 2.2%.
