We view the rise in two stages: 1) 1,350 to 1,530 2) 1,530 to 1,800.Gold is supported by lower yields but yields may be getting ahead of themselves in near panic buying of bonds. We would argue that gold support from lower yields will now shift toward risk aversion linked to US equity weakness into Q3. This is a transition that would support gold pushing through that 1,530 macro inflection point.

Gold is a chemical element with the symbol Au (from Latin: aurum) and the atomic number 79. In its purest form, it is a bright, slightly reddish yellow, dense, soft, malleable and ductile metal. Chemically, gold is a transition metal and a group 11 element. It is one of the least reactive chemical elements, and is solid under standard conditions.
