Established in 2009, GEO is an innovative SaaS company headquartered in Sydney, Australia and listed on New Zealand's Exchange (NZX). GEO provides cloud-based business productivity tools and applications mainly for SMEs with mobile and distributed workforces. GEO's SaaS products target trades and service industries and help operations managers create, schedule and assign jobs to field workers in real time.
This is a strong turnaround story driven by a new management team that has been successful in generating higher EBITDA margins, customer growth, and higher sales growth. As a provider of cloud-based SaaS applications, GEO is able to expand its technology infrastructure platform in a variable cost model. Additional customers can be added to the existing cloud-based infrastructure with very minimal cost. 
On 4 October 2021, GEO successfully completed a placement of ordinary shares to raise $6.0mn at a price of $0.13 per share. It also intends to conduct a subsequent capital raise to enable smaller shareholders to participate in the capital raise. This new funding round should help to accelerate the company’s path to scale up its business and further grab higher market share in the SME focused SaaS segment in Australia and New Zealand.
