Amplifying Global FX Capital was founded in 2015 and is fully owned by Greg Gibbs. It is a registered company both in Australia and Colorado, USA and is a licensed in Australia to provide financial services.

We are producing a regular trading view orientated macroeconomic analysis of topical themes in global financial markets, with a particular focus on foreign exchange. We invite you to view an “executive summary” of these reports in “AmpGFX Reports” under our “Research” menu.

These reports are drawn from the analysis of Greg Gibbs and inform the capital management he undertakes on behalf of the company. The trading performance is posted periodically on our website. We aim to build our company into both a research and capital management business. We are currently in the planning phase for managing capital for wholesale customers.

Greg Gibbs has spent his working life of more than 26 years in financial markets, beginning in 1989 at the Reserve Bank of Australia, after completing a Bachelor of Economics Degree (Honours) at the Australian National University. He has been a CFA Charterholder since 2005. He has worked in Sydney, Singapore, New York and London for major global banks and presented on foreign exchange markets to major financial institutions and companies around the world, and maintained a high profile in the financial media.

Before Amplifying Global FX Capital, Greg was the Head of Asia Pacific Market Strategy at the Royal Bank of Scotland based Singapore. He now resides in Breckenridge Colorado.

Macroeconomics

<p><em>More stability in oil prices, anticipated policy easing by the ECB, intensified efforts in China to control its currency, and a Fed that is keeping its policy options open and likely to delay policy tightening on recent ebbing trends in US growth and global market uncertainty are likely to combine to  support global equity markets and risk appetite.  We anticipate a lengthy consolidation in equities after a tough start to the year, and some recovery in commodity currencies, mostly against the EUR.  Weak Chinese economic growth and more volatile Chinese equities, indicative of domestic financial stress, pose the biggest threat to this more benign near term outlook.  However, a good deal of the negative outlook for Chinese commodity demand may be baked in the cake.</em></p>

The Company  manufactures, markets, and distributes coatings, adhesives, insulating materials, sealants,  polycarbonates, and polyurethanes. Covestro markets its products to industries including  automotive, construction, health, electronics, and medical engineering.

Wacker Chemie AG is a globally active chemical company with a wide range of specialty chemical products. The Company's products include hyperpure polysilicon for the electronics and solar industries, semiconductor wafers, a broad range of silicones, vinyl acetate based polymers, and biotech products.

FUCHS SE manufactures lubricants and related specialty products. The Company refines and produces industrial and automotive lubricants, hydraulic oils, greases, and polishing products, as well as biodegradable oils. FUCHS markets its products worldwide.

K+S AG manufactures and markets within the fertilizer division standard and speciality fertilizers to the agricultural and industrial industries worldwide. In its salt business, the company produces de-icing salt, food grade salt, industrial salt and salt for chemical use.

LANXESS AG manufactures specialty chemicals. The Company focuses on the development, manufacturing, and marketing of plastics, rubber, intermediates, and specialty chemicals. LANXESS offers its products around the world.

Symrise AG is a diversified chemical manufacturer.  The Company produces perfume oils, fragrance bases, cosmetic raw materials and ingredients, plant extracts, aroma chemicals, flavorings, fruit powders, and seasonings.  Symrise's customers manufacture fragrances, cosmetics, soaps, hair care products, detergents, household products, foods, beverages, and pharmaceuticals.

Nabaltec AG manufactures a wide range of chemicals. The Company's products include Aluminum hydroxide, boehmite, magnesium hydroxide, and ceramic bodies.

Aurubis AG operates copper smelting and refining facilities.  The Company primarily produces copper rod used in the manufacture of power cables, building wires and other wiring used in electrical applications.  Aurubis also produces copper cakes, cathodes, billets and bars and markets precious  metals, chemicals and other metals produced as by-products of copper smelting.

ThyssenKrupp AG manufactures industrial components.  The Company produces flat rolled and cast steel, automobile parts, elevators and escalators, machine tools, bearings, nonferrous metals and plastics, develops and manages real estate, and designs and constructs factories.

IBU-tec advanced materials AG offers contract research and manufacturing and process development for inorganic materials. The Company serves the chemicals, ceramics, and building materials industries.

TORAY INDUSTRIES, INC. manufactures yarns, synthetic fibers, and man-made leather used as apparel and industrial materials.  The Company also makes chemical products such as polyester films, engineering plastics, and resin materials.  Toray develops information equipment such as electronic circuit and liquid crystal color filter.

Orica Limited is a diversified manufacturing company.  The Company produces industrial and specialty chemicals, polyethylene, surface coatings for vehicles, food and beverage flavoring and fragrances, packaging and appliances. The Company also supplies explosive and blasting services to the mining, quarrying and construction industries.

NITTO DENKO CORPORATION manufactures and markets a wide range of chemical products which are used as materials for industrial and electronic components. The Company's products include materials for sealants, semiconductors, and wrappings.  Nitto Denko has a network of sales/manufacturing subsidiaries worldwide.

Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation manufactures and markets petrochemical products, nylon fiber, and rayon staple fiber.  Formosa sells its products in Taiwan and exports to Asia.

Solar Industries India Limited manufactures and supplies explosives and explosives accessories. The company's products include bulk, cartridge, detonators, detonating cords Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate ("PETN"), and cast boosters.

Satelltte Chemical Co., Ltd. develops, manufactures and sells acrylic acid esters, methacrylic acids, pigment intermediates, acrylic emulsion polymers, super absorbent polymers, and other acrylic downstream products.

Balchem Corporation develops, manufactures, and markets specialty performance ingredients for the food, feed, and medical sterilization industries. The Company micro-encapsulates performance ingredients, and also repackages and markets specialty gases. Balchem sells its products through its own sales force, independent distributors, and sales agents.

Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co.,Ltd manufactures and markets fertilizer products. The Company produces potash fertilizers, potassium chloride, and other products. Qinghai Salt Lake Industry also produces salts, chemicals, and other products.

Berger Paints India Limited manufactures and distributes paints, enamels, varnishes, and synthetic resins. The Company's products are used in home, office, factory, interiors, exteriors, metal, wood, plastic, and others.

Sichuan Tianqi Lithium Industries, Inc. develops, manufactures and sells lithium products.  The Company's products include industrial lithium carbonate, battery lithium carbonate, lithium chloride, and lithium hydroxide.

Evonik Industries AG manufactures specialty chemicals. The Company offers different products in the field of consumer goods, animal nutrition, and pharmaceuticals.
