<li>This past week, nearly 150 companies in Japan announced buyback programmes totalling ¥2.1trln. 3 Tenders, 26 ToSTNeT-3 buybacks (including at least 5 delayed starts). </li>
<li>The median on-market buyback was 2.40% of shares, the average 2.9% (both measured as practical maxima at announcement. Median/Average % of ADV was 7.6/9.2%. </li>
<li>My prediction that this will be a record year for stock buybacks still stands.</li>

In mid-December, digital UX creation agency (90% of revenues) and "talent agency" (10%) announced it would move from TSE Growth to TSE Prime mid-December 2022.
This was in Janaghan's "Not Ready" list in TOPIX Inclusions: Who Is Ready (Dec 2022) because it did not meet two of the requirements. But it turns out it did.
This is therefore a TOPIX inclusion event at end-January 2023.

For OZ Minerals (OZL AU),  look elsewhere unless you are VERY bullish copper. But if you are VERY bullish copper, buy copper options rather than the embedded option in OZL.

DI agreed. </li>
<li>Dream Incubator's exit is worth ¥21.54bn in cash and ¥18.2bn in extraordinary gains on the consolidated financial statements for March 2023. </li>
<li>That is nice. They have promised to deliver ¥10bn of proceeds to shareholders and reinvest the other ¥5bn to grow their consulting business. It's a nice little asset.</li>

Dream Incubator's exit is worth ¥21.54bn in cash and ¥18.2bn in extraordinary gains on the consolidated financial statements for March 2023. 
That is nice. They have promised to deliver ¥10bn of proceeds to shareholders and reinvest the other ¥5bn to grow their consulting business. It's a nice little asset.


Dream Incubator (4310 JP) - An Interesting Exit and Attractive Valuation for Future Growth
