Asia HY Trade Recommendations - August 2020 - Lucror Analytics

Country Garden’s H1/20 results were acceptable, as leverage was stable and the liquidity profile still sound. Negatively, the gross margin continued to decline. This could be due to price cuts, as well as the higher concentration of sales in lower-tier cities where demand was subdued. We expect slight full-year contracted sales growth y-o-y, supported by the large saleable resources available in H2. We believe Country Garden will be able to maintain its financial profile at current levels, barring an unforeseen industry slowdown.
