Periscope Analytics focuses on event-driven trades across Asia Pacific and provides comprehensive, timely and systematic coverage of index changes to major Asia Pacific indices in a structured manner.

The analysis includes forecasted inclusions and exclusions to all major Asian indices that have significant amount of tracking assets, including estimates of passive buy/sell flow on the stocks. The service also provides commentary and impact of market consultations, ground rule changes, and other events (IPOs, spin-offs, M&A) that could lead to index changes and passive flow.

Periscope Analytics works with multi-strategy hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, stat arb trading groups and long-only investors that invest and trade in the Asia Pacific region with the data being used to trade index rebalances, avoid pre-positioning and passive flow, and to time entry into and exit from stocks.

<li>There were big inflows to China focused ETF with a lot of money going into Semiconductor and Chip focused ETFs.</li>

<li>Based on the index methodology, there could be up to 5 changes at the rebalance. Plus there will be capping changes for <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/bank-rakyat-indonesia-persero" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:484:1" rel="noopener">Bank Rakyat (BBRI)</a> and <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/bank-central-asia-tbk-pt" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:440:1" rel="noopener">Bank Central Asia (BBCA)</a>.</li>
<li>The impact of passive trading will be higher on the deletions than the inclusions since lower liquidity stocks are replaced with higher liquidity stocks.</li>

SCG Chemicals Pre-IPO -The Positives - A Strong Regional Player

PT Barito Pacific Tbk manufactures petrochemicals. The Company produces olefins, propylene, ethylene, and styrene.  Barito Pacific also produces semi-finished wood products for furniture manufacturers, and owns land in Jakarta.

Impack Pratama Industri Tbk PT produces plastic products in Asia and distributes them worldwide. The Company and it's subsidiaries manufacture building material plastics, PVC products, and fiberglass roofing, among other products.

PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk is an industrial gas company. The Company supplies industrial gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, and many other gases and related services to many industries including metal works, metallurgy, chemical processes, the petrochemical industry, electronic, and electrical industry. The Company also supplies gases for drinking water and wastewater treatment.

PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk was previously named PT Aneka Gas Industri Tbk. The Company recently changed its name to PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk upon approval of the Company's Shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on Monday, 12 December 2022 in Jakarta. The rebranding of the Company's name aims to further demonstrate the Company's identity as a national company that will continue to contribute to Indonesia, as well as to align the Company's identity with its parent company, Samator Group. PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk is a mineral and mining company.  The Company mines for gold and copper.

LG Chem Ltd. is a chemical manufacturer.  The Company's products include petrochemicals, plastic resins, and engineering plastics.  LG Chem also produces industrial and electronic materials.

NITTO DENKO CORPORATION manufactures and markets a wide range of chemical products which are used as materials for industrial and electronic components. The Company's products include materials for sealants, semiconductors, and wrappings.  Nitto Denko has a network of sales/manufacturing subsidiaries worldwide.

Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation manufactures and markets petrochemical products, nylon fiber, and rayon staple fiber.  Formosa sells its products in Taiwan and exports to Asia.

Solar Industries India Limited manufactures and supplies explosives and explosives accessories. The company's products include bulk, cartridge, detonators, detonating cords Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate ("PETN"), and cast boosters.

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. produces industrial atmospheric and specialty gases, and performance materials and equipment. The Company's products include oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, specialty surfactants and amines, polyurethane, epoxy curatives and resins. Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. products are used in the beverage, health and semiconductors fields.
