It’s one week into November and everyone’s sitting around, waiting to see what Bitcoin’s going to do next. Will we have a Moonvember to give Uptober a run for its money? That’s TBD, of course. Most observers are expecting it after the September and October price run (and based on the bull-bear cycle which typically culminates in explosive end-of-year action).

November is upon us, and as we approach the close of the new year, things are coming full circle in the Bitcoin mining realm. Bitcoin price is (more-or-less) in all-time high territory, hashprice transcended its yearly high on October 20th, and hashrate is nearly where it was before China’s mining ban.

Try to envision all the machines that propelled Bitcoin’s hashrate recovery from its June lows of ~69 EH/s to its current level of 156 EH/s. Now take all of those machines (about 900,000 or so) and roughly double the number.That’s how much machinery the biggest farms in North America plan to have online before the end of next year—some 80 EH/s worth, or more than half of the network’s current total hashrate.

Try to envision all the machines that propelled Bitcoin’s hashrate recovery from its June lows of ~69 EH/s to its current level of 156 EH/s. Technical Analysis

The overnight rise in bond prices has confirmed a short-term break.
It suggests that we may effectively see a repeat of the past 4 sessions – a sharp rise in the Long Bond and a quick fall in long end yields (30Y).
At this juncture it appears to be a short term adjustments in markets rather than anything more concerning.
However, as breakevens remain elevated, real yields are likely to make fresh all-time lows. As highlighted earlier this week, watch out for a breach of support on US 30Y TIPS yields at minus 50 bps. The all-time low on US 10Y TIPS yield was minus 122 bps and is back in sight.
With this in mind, and when coupled with the slip in Bictoin and a still vulnerable looking USD, we must prepare for the possibility of a breakout in Gold through $1,834.
