Implied valued is ₩710.3bil. SK Networks paid about 100% management right premium to the current market price.</li>
<li>Valuation wise, implied valuation of ₩710.3bil is like a 17-18 times EBIT. It seems overpriced as AJ Rent A Car's EBIT margin is at around 5-6%. But this is a direct pure business merger. We can expect immediate business synergies. So, price wouldn't be an issue as the market already seems to be justifying it. SK Networks ended with a 5.25% gain today.</li>
<li>SK Networks has two pillar (or growth engine) businesses: 1. home rental business (driven by SK Magic - formerly Tongyang Magic) and 2. car rent business. SK Networks will surely try to combine these two rental businesses. This'd be a real threat not only to Coway but also Lotte Rental. So, Lotte can be serious again about buying Coway. This industry dynamic may rather serve to be a sentimental boost for Coway after a 10+% price correction this week.</li>

Implied valued is ₩710.3bil. SK Networks paid about 100% management right premium to the current market price.
Valuation wise, implied valuation of ₩710.3bil is like a 17-18 times EBIT. It seems overpriced as AJ Rent A Car's EBIT margin is at around 5-6%. But this is a direct pure business merger. We can expect immediate business synergies. So, price wouldn't be an issue as the market already seems to be justifying it. SK Networks ended with a 5.25% gain today.
