As expected, CVS received a second request from the Department of Justice on February 1 for the company's pending acquisition of Aetna. "A second request was guaranteed," a former head of the antitrust division at the DOJ told CTFN. "Not because there is an obvious problem. But simply because of the size of this deal and the impact on the public."
