Bondcritic, established in 2009, is designed to be an independent credit research voice that helps investors gain insights and unbiased analyses on Asian fixed income market. Our mission is to discover deep-value Asian high-yield and distressed bonds with a bottom-up approach, together with the help of our proprietary ESG (Environmental, Social Development, and Governance) model. At the same time, we focus on bringing investment cases of unrated and unloved issuers to the general public.

<li>The company has defaulted since 2021 and has already missed a few payments as well as the deadline to deliver a restructuring blueprint at the end of 2022.</li>
<li>We believe the Chinese government is looking now to rescue developers (such as Country Garden) which are seen as systemically important.  </li>
<li>We are of the opinion that the sector is not investable for the general public  in 2023 and only the Distressed specialists should endeavor investing in Chinese high-yield property developers.</li>
