Asia HY Monthly - Chinese Developers’ Urban Redevelopment Businesses - Lucror Analytics

Chandra Asri Petrochemical’s Q2 and H1/21 results were acceptable, considering the solid earnings growth. While cash flows were weak, we expect the company to achieve normalised working capital levels in H2, and generate positive OCF for the full year. In addition, CAP’s leverage profile and access to capital remains strong. We view positively CAP’s planned rights issuance and selection of Thai Oil as a strategic investor. If approved by regulators, the transactions would allow CAP to pre-fund around one-third of the c. USD 5 bn capex for the development of CAP2. We also believe the entry of SOE Thai Oil as a strategic minority investor will improve CAP’s corporate governance, while diluting the stakes of controlling shareholders Barito Pacific and Prajogo Pangestu.

The LQ45 Index is a market cap weighted index of the 45 most liquid stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Impack Pratama Industri Tbk PT produces plastic products in Asia and distributes them worldwide. The Company and it's subsidiaries manufacture building material plastics, PVC products, and fiberglass roofing, among other products.

PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk is an industrial gas company. The Company supplies industrial gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, and many other gases and related services to many industries including metal works, metallurgy, chemical processes, the petrochemical industry, electronic, and electrical industry. The Company also supplies gases for drinking water and wastewater treatment.

PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk was previously named PT Aneka Gas Industri Tbk. The Company recently changed its name to PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk upon approval of the Company's Shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on Monday, 12 December 2022 in Jakarta. The rebranding of the Company's name aims to further demonstrate the Company's identity as a national company that will continue to contribute to Indonesia, as well as to align the Company's identity with its parent company, Samator Group. The Company's stock code in the Indonesian Stock Exchange did not change and is still "AGII".

PT Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk manufactures branch and linear alkylbenzene, the main raw material used in the production of detergents. The Company also operates in the development of properties.

PT Lautan Luas Tbk distributes basic and specialty chemicals.  Through its subsidiaries, the Company also manufactures basic and specialty chemicals such as activated carbon, methyl-tin stabilizer, poly aluminum chloride, band ply lubricant, textile and leather auxiliaries, paper chemical, sulfuric acid, aluminum sulfate, food coloring, white oil, and others.

PT Vale Indonesia Tbk produces nickel in matte, an intermediate product, from lateritic ores at its integrated mining and processing facilities near Soroako, Sulawesi

PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Corporation Tbk operates a pulp and paper mill located in Perawang, a paper mill in Tangerang, and a packaging product mill in Serang. The Company manufactures various types of printing and writing paper including coated and uncoated free-sheets, photo copy paper, packaging container boards, corrugated shipping containers, and boxboards.

PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk is a mineral and mining company.  The Company mines for gold and copper.

PT Trias Sentosa Tbk manufactures packaging paper and biaxially-oriented polypropylene films.  The Company's products include heat sealable, plain, metalized, pressure sensitive adhesive, pearlized, and polyester films.

PT Tridomain Performance Materials (TPM) operates as a holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, manufactures specialty chemicals such as resins, coating, acrylamides, and poly vinyl chloride products to the infrastructure, construction, automotive, environmental, and manufacturing industries. TPM serves customers worldwide.

LyondellBasell Industries NV manufactures plastic, chemical, and fuel products. The Company offers products for the manufacturing of personal care products, fresh food packaging, lightweight plastics, construction materials, automotive components, durable textiles, medical applications, and biofuels. LyondellBasell Industries conducts its business worldwide.

LG Chem Ltd. is a chemical manufacturer.  The Company's products include petrochemicals, plastic resins, and engineering plastics.  LG Chem also produces industrial and electronic materials.

NITTO DENKO CORPORATION manufactures and markets a wide range of chemical products which are used as materials for industrial and electronic components. The Company's products include materials for sealants, semiconductors, and wrappings.  Nitto Denko has a network of sales/manufacturing subsidiaries worldwide.

Solar Industries India Limited manufactures and supplies explosives and explosives accessories. The company's products include bulk, cartridge, detonators, detonating cords Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate ("PETN"), and cast boosters.

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. produces industrial atmospheric and specialty gases, and performance materials and equipment. The Company's products include oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, specialty surfactants and amines, polyurethane, epoxy curatives and resins. Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. products are used in the beverage, health and semiconductors fields.

Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. produces and distributes synthetic resins and other chemical products such as fertilizers. The Company also manufactures electronic materials such as semiconductor silicon, synthetic, and rare earth quartz. Shin-Etsu Chemical operates in Japan and overseas.

Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. develops, manufactures, and markets pure isocyanate, polymeric isocyanate, polyurethane, and other related chemical products.

Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co.,Ltd manufactures and markets fertilizer products. The Company produces potash fertilizers, potassium chloride, and other products. Qinghai Salt Lake Industry also produces salts, chemicals, and other products.

Asian Paints Limited manufactures a wide range of decorative paints, varnishes, enamels, and black & synthetic resins. The Company, through its subsidiaries, also manufactures specialty industrial chemicals and vinyl pyridine latex products which are used in the manufacture of rubber tires.

PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (CAP) is an integrated petrochemical producer. The Company produces ethylene, propylene, mixed C4, pyrolysis gasoline, polyethylene, polypropylene, and styrene monomer.  CAP serves both the domestic downstream industries and regional export markets in Indonesia.
