<li>JHBP (CY) Holdings Ltd also known as Genor Biopharma has filed for an IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to raise about HK$2.48bn (US$320m). The biopharmaceutical company focuses on developing and commercialising oncology and autoimmune drugs.</li>
<li>Genor plans to utilise a majority of its IPO proceeds on clinical trials, prepare registration filings, fund planned clinical trials and potential commercialisation of its core products. The company also plans to use part of its IPO proceeds on funding other drug candidates in its pipeline and on expanding its drug pipeline respectively.</li>
<li>The company currently does not have any products approved for commercial sale; hence the company does not generate any revenues from product sales. However, the company owns four late stage drug assets and of which the company expects to launch 2-3 drug assets in the second half of 2021, subject to NMPA approval.</li>
<li>Two of the company’s key drug candidates, GB491 (potentially best-in-class oral CDK4/6 for HR+/HER2-breast cancer) and GB242 (a biosimilar candidate to infliximab (developed by J&amp;J) for autoimmune diseases) are most likely to have competitive advantage over its competitors and these drugs cater to growing markets with significant growth potential.</li>

<p>The leading Chinese express delivery company, ZTO Express is looking to raise US$1.56bn (45m shares at a maximum offer price of US$34.58 per share) in its Hong Kong Secondary listing, following in the footsteps of a growing number of US-listed Chinese companies seeking for secondary listings.</p><p>The company utilises a “network partner model” (referred as “Tongda operators”) where the mission-critical line-haul transportation and sorting within the express value chain is handled by the company itself, while the network partners operate the outlets that provide first-mile pickup and last-mile delivery services.</p><p>We discuss the details below.</p>

<p>We've been bearish on <a href="https://www.smartkarma.com/entities/zto-express" target="_blank" data-smartkarma-citation="entities:23628:1" rel="noopener">ZTO Express (ZTO US)</a> for some time now. In addition to accounting issues the company has been unable to explain, we have long expected heavy downward pressure on profit margins and Operating Cash flow, as seen clearly in the company's weak Q220 results. </p><p>We appreciate the rationale for seeking a second listing in Hong Kong, though we admit we are surprised by the relatively large scale of the issue, rumored to be around US$2 bn (implying about 8% dilution). Given the continued deterioration of conditions in China's express sector, ZTO may be opportunistically raising a large sum on the expectation that doing so later will prove difficult.</p><p>In Q220, ZTO posted parcel volume growth of 48% -- well ahead of market growth -- yet EPS grew by only 6%. We believe such poor "conversion" will remain the norm for ZTO in the medium term, and we do not believe such a performance warrants a PER multiple of over 34 times. Retain SELL.</p>
