<li>We should focus on the ad-hoc change deletion as we can expect more pronounced price impact near the effective date due to lower chances of premature exposure than regular reviews.</li>
<li>The following three candidates are screened: K Car, Daesang Corporation, and Shinsegae International. They are all likely to exhibit a significant passive impact (x ADTV).</li>

Prime Target for Flow Trading Due to Low Pre-Exposure in December KOSPI 200 Rebalancing

<ul>
<li>LX Semicon and Tokai Carbon Korea will be excluded, and these two positions will be filled by Eo Technics and either HPSP or ISC Co Ltd.</li>
<li>The effective date is October 16th, and the rebalancing trading by the TIGER ETF occurs towards the closing (likely to start around 2 p.m.) on Friday, October 13th.</li>
<li>The practical setup would entail an EO Technics-TCK Long Short pair. For a more aggressive strategy, we could explore the inclusion of HPSP in this setup.</li>
</ul>


LX Semicon and Tokai Carbon Korea will be excluded, and these two positions will be filled by Eo Technics and either HPSP or ISC Co Ltd.
The effective date is October 16th, and the rebalancing trading by the TIGER ETF occurs towards the closing (likely to start around 2 p.m.) on Friday, October 13th.
The practical setup would entail an EO Technics-TCK Long Short pair. For a more aggressive strategy, we could explore the inclusion of HPSP in this setup.

<li>Due to the sharp appreciation of Hana Micron's share price this year, its valuation discount to companies such as HPSP has narrowed substantially. </li>
<li>Samsung Electronics is one of the major customers of Hana Micron. Samsung recently reported that it has successfully secured the right to supply advanced memory chips to NVIDIA.</li>
<li>We do not believe Hana Micron's valuations are attractive right now. Rather than chasing after its shares, we would rather wait for its shares to retreat (20-30%) a bit.</li>
</ul>

Hana Micron: Semiconductor Chips Packaging Company With Solid Fundamentals and FOMO Trading

<li>NICE I&amp;S will likely complete the transfer schedule in early May, meaning that an ad-hoc change may occur before the regular rebalancing of the KOSDAQ 150 in June.</li>
<li>If this gets completed before SK Oceanplant's transfer listing schedule, the top reserved issue in NICE's GICS sector (INDUSTRIALS) will be included. It is Sun Kwang (003100 KS).</li>
<li>As evidenced in the case of LX Semicon, we should set up a preemptive position for potential ADDITION at the time of the T or T-1 KRX corporate action announcement.</li>
</ul>

Target & Timing for Flow Trading Position Setup in NICE I&S KOSPI Transfer Event

Hana Micron Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, and sells semiconductor packages for memory and non-memory semiconductor products.  The Company also produces USB flash drive (UFD), a mobile storage devices which can substitute floppy disk drives.

Eugene Technology Company Ltd. manufactures tools for wafer fabs.  The Company uses the wafer fabs to produce integrated circuits in volume.

Jusung Engineering Co., Ltd. manufactures semiconductor, flat panel display, and solar cell production equipment.  The Company produces space divided CVD-ALD thin film machines for semiconductor manufacture; equipment for producing liquid crystal display panels; and equipment for manufacturing crystalline silicon and thin film silicon tandem solar cells.

ISC Co., Ltd. manufactures semiconductor testing equipments such as test sockets, burn-in sockets, and interposers. Testing equipments are used in the final testing process of semiconductors including DRAM, NAND/NOR Flash Memory, and Graphic Processing Unit(GPU) and are supplied to semiconductor manufacturers  abroad.

Psk Holdings Inc specializes in manufacturing semiconductor fabrication and liquid crystal display (LCD) manufacturing equipment.  The Company's products include dual chamber ashers and microwave ashers used in photo resist stripping and etching and multi-etchers used in LCD processes.

Tokai Carbon Korea Co., Ltd. produces purified graphite products used in semiconductor equipment, and silicon single crystal puller parts.  The Company also produces carbon products used in rubber parts for machineries.

Koh Young Technology Inc. (Koh Young) manufactures and develops a 3D measurement and inspection equipment used for testing accuracy and reliability in various machineries.  The company also produces 3D inspection system for substrate bump in a semiconductor.

Wonik QNC Corporation designs and produces quartz products.  The Company's products are used to protect semiconductor from impurities.  Wonik QNC also manufactures fine ceramics for liquid crystal display (LCD) and semiconductor process.

Seojin System Co., Ltd. manufactures components for communication equipments, such as Remote Radio Head(RRH) and Digital Unit(DU).  The Company also produces semiconductor components and metal cases for hand-held devices.

KoMiCo Ltd. provides and markets cleaning and coating services on semiconductor and displays devices.

Everlight Electronics Co., Ltd. manufactures and markets optoelectronic components.  The Company's main products are surface mount devices light emitting diodes (LEDs), super bright LED lamps, special purpose LEDs, dot matrix displays, photo transistors, and infrared LEDs.

ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC. offers semiconductor testing and packaging solutions to companies, integrated device manufacturers, and foundries. The Company provides a broad range of back-end testing services for high density memory, mixed-signal and liquid crystal display.

Grinm Advanced Materials Co Ltd. develops and manufactures semiconductor materia ls. The Company's products include monocrystalline silicon, germanium,  compound  semiconductor materials, and other related electronic materials. Grinm Advanced Materials also invests in technology development and provides technical  and processing services.

UT Group Co., Ltd. is a holding company.  The Group specializes in semiconductor and LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) related products and provides outsourcing services to electronics manufacturers.

Ardentec Corporation develops and provides IC (integrated circuit) wafer test and IC final test services.

Tri Chemical Laboratories Inc. develops, produces, and markets semiconductor and optic fiber materials.  The Company also designs and manufactures containers for chemicals.

ITE Technology Inc. is a fabless IC design house.  The Company develops, manufactures, and markets various kinds of ICs (Integrated Circuits) for the use in PCs (Personal Computers), IAs (Internet Appliances), and LCDs (Liquid Crystal Displays).

D&O Green Technologies Bhd, through its subsidiary, manufactures semiconductor components. The Company manufactures and assembles semiconductor components under original equipment manufacturer contract manufacturing and captive line arrangements.  D&O serves multinational corporations.

Ferrotec Corporation develops, manufactures, and sells equipment that incorporates magnetic fluid (ferrofluid) technology. The Company manufactures and processes electronics components, manufactures machine tools, and cleans parts used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment as CMS (contract manufacturing service) business in China.

MIMASU SEMICONDUCTOR INDUSTRY CO., LTD. processes semiconductor materials such as silicon and gallium.  The Company also designs, manufactures, and sells semiconductor material processing machinery and sells various kinds of measuring and testing devices.

LX Semicon Co., Ltd. designs, develops, and markets mixed-signal semiconductors. The Company utilizes its own algorithm and technologies to enhance the features and capabilities of flat panel displays that are used in electronic devices and mobile handsets. LX Semicon markets its products worldwide.
